UTP explores new sectors around the globe
2018 is all about growth and learning for UTP. The challenges facing the UK around the uncertainty created by Brexit is a key driver for us to step boldly into new sectors and new territories. We intend to take every opportunity for growth in both new and existing sectors.
“UTP has always welcomed international clients to its south coast manufacturing facility. As our new facility is fully bedded down, those visits remain very important to demonstrate our ‘through-life’ approach to quality. This year, however, I will be shifting that dynamic and investing more heavily in developing strong relationships by actively visiting both new and existing clients around the globe.” Says Martin Todd, Managing Director.
“We have a skill base and capability that is relevant to a large number of clients. Those clients are not all UK-based and it is important to promote our skills and find new opportunities. We are responding to an increasing number of RFQ’s and we are seeing emerging opportunities in the medical sector and a deepening of our relationship and expertise in the nuclear sector as well.”
UTP attended the Singapore Airshow in February as well the IADC/SPE Drilling Conference in Fort Worth in March. This year, we intend to attend more shows and visit more clients than ever before. Please come and speak to us about the skills and experience we have in your sector.
